Refund & Return / Exchange Policy

Welcome to ShikhaFab. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we strive to provide a seamless shopping experience with every order. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, the following policies will help ensure a fair and transparent resolution.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched from our warehouse. Once your order has been shipped, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

        • Cancellation requests should be made within 24 hours of placing the order.
        • Customers will receive shipment confirmation through Email/WhatsApp once the order is dispatched.
        • Orders purchased during sale or promotional offers may also be cancelled before dispatch.

Refund for Cancelled Orders

        • For prepaid orders made via Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, Wallet, or other online payment methods, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
        • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, no refund will be applicable since payment has not yet been made.

Change of Shipping Address

Customers may request a change in the delivery address before the order is packed or dispatched. To request changes, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible.


Return & Exchange Policy

At ShikhaFab, we ensure strict quality checks before dispatching products. However, return or exchange requests are accepted only under specific circumstances.

Non-Returnable Products

Returns or exchanges are not accepted for:

        • Cut fabrics ordered as per customer-selected length
        • Customized or stitched products
        • Precut or heavily discounted fabrics
        • Products measuring less than 2 metres
        • Used, washed, altered, or damaged products

Eligible Return / Exchange Conditions

Returns or exchanges will only be accepted if:

        • The item received is damaged during transit
        • There is a manufacturing defect
        • An incorrect product was delivered

Customers must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with proper product images and order details.

Important Requirement

Please record an unboxing video immediately upon receiving the parcel. Claims related to damaged, defective, or incorrect products may not be accepted without a proper unboxing video.


Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange request:

      1. Email us with your Order ID, issue details, and product images/videos.
      2. Our support team will verify the request.
      3. Once approved, return instructions will be shared.

Please do not send products back without prior approval from our customer support team.

Return Packaging Guidelines

        • Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition.
        • Original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included.
        • Returned items should be packed securely to avoid transit damage.

Reverse Pickup Policy

Where serviceable, reverse pickup will be arranged within 3–4 business days after approval of the request.

Please note:

        • Reverse pickup may not be available for certain pin codes.
        • Customers outside India must arrange return shipping themselves.
        • If reverse pickup is unavailable, customers will need to courier the product to the address provided by our support team.

Once the returned item is received and verified, refund/exchange processing will begin.


Refund Policy

Prepaid Orders

Refunds for prepaid orders will be credited back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Refunds for COD orders will be provided through:

        • Bank Transfer
        • Store Credit
        • E-Voucher / Coupon Code

Cash refunds are not available for COD orders.


Situations Where Refunds Will Not Be Issued

Refunds or exchanges will not be applicable in the following cases:

        • Minor colour or design variations due to photography or screen display
        • Handloom or handcrafted fabric variations
        • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by customer
        • Returned products received in used, washed, stitched, or damaged condition
        • Wrong products sent back by the customer
        • Shipping charges are non-refundable
        • Reverse pickup charges, if applicable

Product Availability

In rare situations where a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, customers may choose:

        • An alternative product
        • Store credit
        • Full refund for the unavailable item

Colour & Product Description Disclaimer

We make every effort to display product colours and details accurately. However:

        • Slight colour variations may occur due to screen settings and lighting.
        • Fabric texture, weave, embroidery, and handcrafted work may naturally vary slightly from product to product.
        • Product dimensions and specifications are approximate and may have minor variations.
